Yesterday's Horizon

Yesterday’s horizon fades.
All the colors rearrange.
What I thought I’d never lose
was only something I outgrew.
I remember every road,
every place that felt like home.
But the morning calls again,
and I don’t wanna go back there.
Yesterday’s horizon,
far behind my eyes.
Yesterday’s horizon
disappears with sunrise.
I keep moving forward.
I don’t need to know
where the road is taking me.
I’m ready to go.
I’m ready to go.
Oh,
oh. There were moments I was lost.
There were lessons at a cost.
But the further that I walk,
the more clearly I can talk
to the person I became
after walking through the rain.
I don’t need to change the past.
I just need to make this last.
Let it fade,
let it go.
Let the morning start to glow.
Every ending has a door,
and I’m walking through
it slow.
Ooh. Yesterday’s horizon.
Yesterday’s horizon.
Yesterday’s horizon.
