Love Is Easy

Love is easy
I used to think
Love had to hurt
A thousand questions
For every word
Then you came in
No more games to play
You took my hand
And showed the way
I thought love was complicated
I thought it always hurt
Then you came along
And made it simple first
No running, no pretending
No wondering what to say
Maybe with the right one
Love is easy
You call me back, you show you care when
I need you, you're always there
I don't have to guess at what's on your mind
With you
I never read between the lines
I thought love was complicated
I thought it always hurt
Then you came along
And made it simple first
No running, no pretending
No, I still choose you
No perfect story, no perfect two
Just something honest between me and you
I thought love was complicated till
I fell in love with you
Now waking up beside you
Feels like the easiest thing to do
No running, no pretending
No fear of what could be
Maybe love was always easy
When you love the right one
No games
No questions
Just you and me
Love is easy
