Black And White

We were black and white.
You were east, i was west.
We loved too bright.
Now we're scared of the fall.
Like fire and water.
We could never stay.
Even if we had to lose each
Other on the way.
And they say time heals.
But I don't know how.
Without you under my skin.
I'm slowly burning out.
You're back inside my nightmares, and I
Dress the color of night.
I search for you at midnight
In the windows of streetlights.
We played a little too dangerous.
We don't call and don't write.
But after all this distance.
We still can't say goodbye.
And when somebody else's
Arms hold me in the wrong way,
I catch your ghost on my skin and stay
